Where craft meets code—join us as we explore the future of design
TRAME Spring Highlights: Exhibition + Talks Not to Miss
As we continue blurring the boundaries between heritage craft and generative technology, TRAME is excited to share a series of upcoming moments this spring in Riyadh, the capital and largest city in Saudi Arabia, and New York City. From algorithmically woven bistro chairs to conversations on the infinite potential of design, here’s what’s coming up:
Downtown Design Riyadh | May 20–23
ENLACE: Generative Bistro Chairs by Aranda\Lasch × Maison Louis Drucker

For the first time in Saudi Arabia, TRAME will debut the ENLACE collection—a series of algorithmically generated bistro chairs created in collaboration with architects Aranda\Lasch and legendary French heritage furniture maker Maison Louis Drucker, powered by Art Blocks.
Each chair is a unique expression of generative algorithms and traditional cane weaving, brought to life through Drucker’s 125+ years of artisanal expertise. Visitors are invited to interact with the algorithm, explore the chair-making process, and design their own custom chair at the fair.
Exploring Infinite Creative Potential with New Technologies
ICFF Oasis Lounge | May 19 @ 12:00 PM

Join us at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) for a panel exploring how algorithmic thinking and machine-assisted human creativity shape contemporary design.
Moderator: Jaime Derringer, Head of Brand, TRAME
Panelists: David Schwarz (HUSH), Ben Aranda (Aranda\Lasch), Emily Edelman
We’ll trace the lineage of algorithms from 9th-century mathematics to early computer-generated art and into today’s generative tools—exploring how designers can create unique, intentional products at scale, where no two outcomes are ever the same.
Original Thinkers by Be Original Americas
ICFF Main Stage | May 18 @ 2:30 PM
Our own Jaime Derringer joins the “Original Thinkers” panel at ICFF, a conversation curated by Be Original Americas, the nonprofit dedicated to educating and advocating for authentic design.
This is a celebration of originality. Don’t miss it!
Moderator: Thomas Krizmanic
Panelists: Jaime Derringer (TRAME), John Christakos (Blu Dot), Stephanie Forsythe (molo)
Coming Soon: Desert Threads

Last November in Marfa, TRAME unveiled Desert Threads—a radical encounter between ancestral textile traditions and algorithmic art. Stay tuned for the launch of new rugs and tapestries by artists IX Shells, Linda Dounia, and Fingacode—each piece crafted in collaboration with Moroccan artisans.
Details to be announced.
Let us know if you’ll be in Riyadh or New York—we’d love to see you.
